This session provides an overview of the Colorado Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework and the Response to Intervention (RTI) model as an integrated system. Participants will explore the core components of MTSS and the key features of RTI, gaining a deeper understanding of how RTI functions within the broader MTSS framework. The training will also cover effective implementation strategies, equipping educators, administrators, and support staff with practical tools for early identification, data-driven decision-making, and targeted interventions to support student success.
This cooperative session will engage K-12 teachers from all content areas in pursuing a deeper understanding of their standards by analyzing the declarative and procedural knowledge within their particular standards and examining the aspects of rigor to write rigorous, standards aligned learning targets.
